The Bamix is the original hand mixer, blender, and food processor engineered and made by the Swiss since 1954. With a quiet, but powerful ac motor, the Bamix is versatile enough to puree soups, turn frozen fruit into sorbet or your favorite smoothie and whip nonfat milk into cream. Most commonly found in the kitchens of gourmet chefs and professionals, it is considered the most elite of food processors because of its versatility and strong starting torque. This mono unit runs at 140w and has two speeds. The low speed turns at 8,000 rpms and the high speed at 12,000 rpms. The box includes three removable blades. The completely flat disc is used for aerating or whisking. This blade is used to make whip cream or stiff peaks out of egg whites and should be used at the low speed. The blending blade has holes in the disc and can be used for making aioli or emulsifying your favorite salad dressing. The chopping or multi-purpose blade is used to crush ice, make smoothies or to blend soups. Also included is a 600 ml beaker a recipe book and wall bracket for storage. The Bamix carries a 5 year warranty. They have been known to last for generations.

5 Year Warranty
I bought my first Bamix about 30 years ago at a Home Show. I still have it. The wires broke, waiting for my son to solder it and it will be like new again. After 30 years I decided that I deserve a new one. This one has 2 speeds, looks prettier, otherwise does the same as my old one. I have one made by Cuisinart and dislike the two button fumble part. I highly recommend this bamix. They have more expensive models but for a regular kitchen this one does just fine. I use mine every morning for foaming my Coconut Oil Coffee ( Bullet Prove Coffee) I am old so I know this is the last one I will buy and one of my children will inherit it.
