I already own a Ninja Blender that I just love and cannot live without! I needed another for my brother who was about to have some major dental surgery and would be unable to eat "normal" foods for several months. It made perfect sense to get another Ninja This blender is a step above mine and holy moly I am impressed! We have pureed all types of things that we had no idea we would be able to. We have blended scrambled eggs, oatmeal, breads and have even cut up chicken and pork chops as tiny as we possibly could and then added veggies and protein powders. It blends all this up perfectly smooth. Since he is a severe type 1 diabetic, it was imperative he be able to get the best nourishment possible. This blender has been a Godsend and has allowed him to "eat" / drink without any problem. His dentist was taken aback at how good he looked and asked how he managed to not loose any weight.
