A review from one blind persons perspective…This is a great little blender. It is surprisingly powerful and compact. It is convenient and easy to use. As a blind person, I am always concerned about any items features in my ability to use it without help. This blender does have buttons that are tactile. I was concerned when I was reading the description as to whether or not I would be able to feel them, but they do have a surface where you can tell. There are only three buttons, which makes it even easier. The center buttonControls whether the blender is on pulse or continuous. The blender will also shut itself off if it is running continuously to prevent overheating which is a nice feature to prevent the motor from burning out. I enjoy the flexibility of being able to either use the large pitcher, or the included travel cups. It’s nice to be able to just blend in a cup and be able to not have to dirty multiple dishes. It is plastic, but it is very sturdy and seems to be holding up well. I have used other blenders, like the magic bullet, and I think this one is far superior. I make smoothies with yogurt and frozen fruit, and this powers right through it like it’s nothing. I was looking for something that would be powerful enough to handle that long-term, and this seems to be doing well after a few months. What I found interesting, was that the yellow one ended up being decently cheaper than the other colors, so watch out for that if you don’t care what color you’re buying. In the end, I would definitely recommend this blender for someone who isn’t going to use a blender extremely high volume, but also on a regular basis and is looking for some thing that will be able to power through frozen fruit or ice and want something easy to use and maintain. This also seems to come with a great warranty. I did need sighted assistance to help take a picture from the user manual to send to activate the warranty, but aside from taking the picture, activating the warranty was super easy!Handy and convenient if you like to make lots of shakes often and want to clean the cups in the dishwasher. But the yellow color is very ugly. Wish I got the black and silver since I leave it out on the counter. I did not realize the base was also the ugly yellow color like the cup lids. Oh well…This blender has worked exactly as described. The only reason it didn't get a 5 is because of the lids. Please remember that there is no cover for the drinking hole in the lid. So if you must shake it you will need to put something over it.As for the machine it has proven to have enough power for what I need as I am not a daily smoothie drinker. I'm not sure the machine could handle that kind of work out. I still had whole pieces of the ice in my smoothie. I also used soft fruit not frozen, and I was chewing on pieces of it. I will keep it for now, give it a few more tries. But I may return it. The pros are it isn't too loud & it's compactI was skeptical about this one considering the few people who were not satisfied with their product. I LOVE it! It is just right for myself and my husband. It crushes ice and frozen fruit easily. The chopper is awesome with my vast array of spices that always to be crushed. I even use it with a peppercorn mix to put a large amount in a covered container to sprinkle while cooking. I love to use black or Himalayan salt and it's easier to crush it with this than a mortar & pestle or even a coffee grinder. I can do a large amount in a small amount of time.The clean up is easy. I rinse it off right after using and wash it in a little bit. Some people noted they couldn't fit their hand inside the travel cups to wash but I haven't a problem with that.Others complained about the fact the travel mugs are not closed at the top but place a straw in the top and you're good to go! I drink mine on my way to work and rinse the cups when I get finished. No problem!This machine has replaced many other cooking items in my home and will be great when I need to start making baby food in about 8 months or so.LOVE the color too! I can never turn down something pink for my kitchen and this one is included!I just love this little blender so far! I recived it yesterday and I'm loving it so far. I have made 2 smoothies and they have come out perfectly! I bought this beause my Ninja Blender was just too big and bulky to pull out and clean each time I wanted a single serve soomthie, as well as it never broke up ice good enough. So after a lot of research I settled on this one and so far I'm very happy with it! I love the travel cups they are great!! I have not used the blender or the chopping cupyetbut I'm sure they are awesome. The only downfall so far is that it had sort of a burning motor smell but maybe it's because it is new. We shall see how long it lasts... I suppose I will check back and update after awhile to share how it Is holding up. So far it's just what I was looking for!I just love, love, love this blender. I haven't experienced any of the problems some people were posting, thank God. It is nice to use instead of my big Oster blender, which is a huge pain to wash every time I use it. This is small, takes up little space and I can make a smaller quantity of shakes than having to use more than a cup to justify using the big one. I love the individual tumblers that come with it because I can make one shake for me and then right away, make one for my son instead of having to rinse out the big one first, put in new ingredients, etc. I also like the chopping blade that comes with it and the separate little cup. All in all, I am very satisfied with my purchase! And one of the biggest things I love about it that made me buy it?? It's PINK!! (my favorite color) LOL
